Repeatable Golf Swing Tips
I think every golfer wants to have a repeatable golf swing. What good is it if you can play great one day, but the next day your swing falls apart? This can be frustrating to say the least and you as a golfer may feel helpless even to the point of giving up the game.
Being able to swing the golf club consistently happens from doing a lot of things correctly. A repeatable swing is more likely to occur when you have the correct setup positions, are swinging on plane correctly, and have proper rhythm and tempo.
Some things that can cause you to be inconsistent include several swing faults such as improper tempo and timing, losing your balance in your swing, having too much tension in your arms, etc. It is hard to know exactly why you may be struggling to have a swing that works from day to day without actually looking at it. However, going over basics faults and fixes in your swing will allow you to develop a better understanding of what is going on.
It's really important to be able to understand your faults in your own golf swing. Every golfer tends to have at least one swing fault. This can be anything from picking the club up in the backswing and getting too steep. Or you may be opening up your shoulders too early in the downswing which will drag your club left as you swing through the golf ball. You can usually figure out your swing faults by looking at where you tend to miss your shots. Notice your shot patterns, learn the proper fixes to overcome your mis-hits and you'll soon be able to swing more consistently and stay on track easier.
