Modern Golf Swing Technique Tips
Understanding Modern Golf Swing Technique Can Help You Improve Your Game More Easily
There are some modern golf swing techniques that a lot of golf instructors are currently promoting and teaching to their students. On example is having a more one-plane golf swing. Many teaching pros are now trying to teach the one-plane swing to their students. The one plane swing as opposed to the two plane swing is supposed to keep you more consistent. It's a little bit simpler of a swing theory but is not necessarily for everyone. There are many successful golfers who have two-plane swings.
The stack and tilt golf swing is another popular new swing model that is being used by some tour players. This swing model basically has the golfer staying more centered in their backswing with they turn. This allows them to eliminate excess body movement and will supposedly lead to more consistency with ball striking.
You can also hit it farther by creating a lot of leverage in your golf swing. The way to build leverage in your swing is to have a good wrist hinge or wrist set in your backswing. This will allow you to create a nice angle at the top of your backswing. When swinging down at the ball in the downswing, you want to maintain that angle of your wrists as long as possible until the last second when you hit the ball.
Having the hands lead slightly ahead of the golf ball at impact will allow you to hit the golf ball much more consistently and with greater power which in turn leads to longer distance. Many top instructors teach a big wrist hinge or wrist set which allows you to build up power in the backswing, leading to a powerful downswing and impact position when coming through the golf ball.
Golf Swing Fitness Is Key If You Want To Hit The Golf Ball Farther And Straighter
Almost all the golf professionals on the tour these days spend time working on their fitness. Working out and building muscle will really go a long way also in allowing you to hit the golf ball farther. Having good physical endurance can help you keep up on the back nine holes of your golf rounds and eliminate making any tired swings. There are many good programs available that are geared towards improving and building power for your golf swing. I will be reviewing and sharing more information on proper golf fitness a bit later on.
