Mastering Your Golf Swing So You Can Play Your Best
Once you have the basics of the golf swing down, you can move on to some more advanced golf tips. These tips should only be worked on after you have understood the more basics fundamentals.
Advanced Tip #1: Learn to maintain your spine angle throughout your golf swing. Too much excess body movement can cause you to lose your spine angle during your swing. Once you have good angles in your setup, make sure to maintain those same angles throughout your swing. You never want to stand up or dip down as this will cause you to lose your spine angle and make you less consistent. A correct impact position will look very similar to the setup position. The only difference is at impact the hips will be slightly open. The spine will be in the same angle at impact that is was at the address or setup position.
Advanced Tip #2:At the top of your backswing, make sure Your Clubface Is Parallel To Your Left Forearm. This will ensure greater accuracy and a straighter ball flight. If the club is too much pointed up towards the sky, you'll tend to hook or push your golf shots. If the club face hangs down vertically too much, you'll have a tendency to pull or slice your shots.
