Learn How To Hit A Draw With These Helpful Tips

There are a few tips on how to hit a draw and eliminate any unwanted left to right shots. Here are some helpful tips for hitting a draw:

Tip #1) Play the golf ball slightly farther back in your stance. This will allow you to hit the ball sooner in your downswing arc before your body has turned open. When the golf ball is farther back in your stance, you'll tend to hit the ball sooner while your club head is moving on an In to Out Path which will put draw or right to left spin on the ball.

Tip #2) Use a stronger grip. Simply turning your hands slightly to the right with your grip will help you rotate the club through the ball easier and thus promote a draw. A stronger grip helps you to release the golf club easier when coming into impact. You'll have a little more power to fire through with a strong grip. You'll be able to turn the club head over more and allow your forearms to rotate through the golf shot easier.

Tip #3) Make your swing path come more in to out. As you swing down on your downswing, you want to feel your arms swing down more from the inside and then the club will come more out just after you've hit the ball. This puts a right to left spin on the ball which will result in a draw shot.

Tip #4) On your downswing, feel like you keep your back to the target a split second longer as you swing down. This will allow you to swing the club more from an inside path as you approach the golf ball at impact.

Tip #5) Close or turn your stance a little to the right and align your club at the target where you want the ball to end up. Doing this will allow you to swing the club more from in to out as well and will produce a draw.
