Golf Swing Useful Tips For Improving Your Game
These golf swing useful tips will focus on a few specific things you can do to improve your golf swing:
Tip #1) Remember to just "swing the club", as opposed to trying to steer your shots or hit at the golf ball. Keep things fluid and simple and you will hit the golf ball better especially out on the golf course. Guiding the golf club too much causes excess tension and slows down your clubhead speed. When the club is allowed to swing naturally, you have your best chance of hitting good golf shots. You have to let go a little bit in order to strike the golf ball well. Trying to control and steer your swing too much leads to many possible swing faults and problems.
Tip #2) At impact, the club should be square when coming into the ball. Also, everything comes together at the same time at impact. It is common to have your upper body turned open and already out of your shot but the arms are still back behind you and haven't gotten up to the golf ball. Make sure to get your timing right so your arms, hands, club and body all come through impact together. This will allow you to hit much more solid and consistent golf shots.
Tip #3) A huge key to a fundamental golf swing is a good setup. Oftentimes, a golfer's alignment will get off causing him or her to make an adjustment in the swing path. Having to compensate in this way will lead to more inconsistency with your golf shots. Make sure you have your alignment and setup positions correct before you try and fix your swing path.
