Golf Beginner Free Tips For The Golf Swing

These golf beginner free tips will allow a new golfer to understand some of the main components to a good golf swing

Tip #1) Have a nice athletic setup and stance. Keep your feet shoulder width apart. Let your arms extend and hang comfortably down in front of you when setting up. Make sure to have a correct grip.

Tip #2) In the backswing, simply swing the club high over your right shoulder. Let your weight transfer to your right foot also on the backswing. In the downswing, you swing your arms down and through the golf ball and allow your weight to transfer back to your left foot. Continue swinging until the club comes up high all the way over your left shoulder and your body faces your target.

Tip #3) Keep your body and head down through impact when hitting the golf ball. The most powerful way to hit the golf ball is to use your arms and body together. If your body comes out of your shot too early, then your arms have to try to hit the golf ball which will not lead to consistent shots. Make sure your arms stay in front of your body when hitting the golf ball. Remember that the impact position is simply a mirror of the setup position. You want to get back to the same way you were at the setup.
