7 oclock 1 oclock golf swing
The 7 oclock 1 oclock golf swing is simply a swing path which can produce a straighter ball flight and better golf swing results. The 7 oclock represents where you want your club to go on your backswing. Taking the golf club back along a slightly inside swing path will start you off in the right direction for producing this type of golf swing. A common mistake a lot of amatuers make is taking the golf club back too far outside. This will lead to pulled shots and especially contribute to golf slice problems. Once you start your swing on the correct path, you'll be able to finish your backswing on plane more easily.
The 1 oclock will represent where you are trying to swing the club just after you've come through and hit the golf ball. You want to try and feel your club head go outside slightly. Hence, you feel yourself swing more towards 1 oclock. When the golf club starts slightly inside and finished slightly outside on the downswing/follow through, you'll tend to hit the ball a bit more solid, increase your chance of hitting a draw, and you'll also gain some extra distance because the ball will tend to roll farther when it lands. The ball rolls farther because of the right to left spin you put on it by swinging slightly from inside to out.
